Umul-Qura Islamic Center
Umul-Qura Learning Center is private organization that has been addressing a significant gap in the Kitchener-Waterloo area by providing a dedicated space for Muslims.
In 2011, Maalimah Zahra founded Umul-Qura Learning Centre in her basement. With a passion for teaching and Islamic knowledge.Maalimah Zahra started with a small group of students, teaching them the basics of the Quran and Islamic studies. She introduced the Qaida-Alnurania book, which has helped students perfect their Quranic recitation (tajweed) and build a solid foundation for memorization.
